Kitchen remodeling can be easy and affordable with cabinet
re-facing. By using the existing cabinets and “footprint” you can reduce the
associated costs for plumbing, electrical and floor repair. It is
environmentally friendly due to reusing your existing cabinets.
The process:
Remove all of the old door and drawer fronts, then apply a pre-finished
veneer or solid wood paneling to the cabinet face frames. To avoid unsightly
nail holes panels are applied with a glue and pin technique. This process also
serves as extra strength for the cabinet, increasing the stability and life of
the cabinet.
Next, ¾ inch solid wood custom doors and drawer fronts are installed using
high grade self-closing hinges. Our doors are built using a mortise and tenon
stile and rail assembly which improves strength and durability. In addition we
insert panel spacers to accommodate expansion and contraction from varying
degrees of air moisture. It also prevents the “rattling” noise you may hear in a
lesser quality door.
We offer dovetail drawers to replace damaged or worn drawers with under mount
soft closing slides to accent the drawers. We carry several decorative hardware
options as you may choose to also update your hardware. See our
Emtek link.
